My wife, Natasha and I have been married for almost 4 years now. And this year we decided to start furnishing our place properly. And first on the list of stuff to buy was a couch.

So off we went and started shopping for couches. We eventually decided on Coricraft, but it took us 2 hours to decide which style we actually wanted to purchase. But that was only the beginning. They told us it would take 6 weeks before we got the couch. And it is now 8 weeks later and still, we do not have possession of the couch. Obviously we started getting quite excited as the 6 weeks was starting to draw to a close but when we called them to check up on the couch a few days before it was due to be delivered; they told us that it was not close to being finished. Throw in a few public holidays after the 6 weeks and when we call again they say that they are only expecting delivery of the material in 2 days time.
Yep so that brings us to today, where we get an sms telling us that the couch is almost ready for delivery and could we please pay the rest of the money outstanding. Now that is one sure way to get a customer angry. So please beware when buying a couch from Coricraft. I am sure the quality of the product will be great, but if only they could sort out their customer service issues then it would make the whole buying experience from them really great.

Do you have any buying or consumer experiences you want to share, please feel free to do so here.

  1. yes baby..lesson learnt..next time we just purchase it from Wetherlys 🙂

  2. I say, you shouldn’t pay them the balance until you receive your couch!

    Nice one Dean!
